About the event
Shanie D, born in Detroit, Michigan. Started comedy as a bet and ended up getting a standing ovation and winning 1st place at "All jokes Aside" and that was just the beginning. Shanie D has been on Comic View 3x's, Robert Townsend Partner in Crime, The Next Generation, and she can also be seen in the movies Cornerstone, Pawnshop and recently "The last 24," written buy rapper Trick Trick.
Shanie D has toured with Sinbad, opening for many other, Steve Harvey, DL Hugley, Queen of Comedy and more.
She is also known for being the funny radio personality counterpart of John mason with Radio One.
Shanie D is a writer and does awesome poetry. But mostly she is super funny and tells real life stories with a comedic twist you will Laugh, Cry and Laugh for Crying.
